I have been told by the people who service sewing machines that summer is the busiest time for them. Sewers are typically too busy with gardens and vacations and cottages to be sewing so that's when they send their machines in for maintenance. However, as a teacher, this is my sewing and quilting playtime. I get a little of the other in, too, but walking into my studio in my pajamas with a cup of coffee while the morning light shines through the windows.....that's my nirvana. And in the summer, I don't have to relegate that pleasure to just weekend mornings.
We'll see what happens this morning!
